Game Overview
Developed over the course of two months, Operation Glow-Zone is an educational exhibit that teaches young children about the effects of coral bleaching, and a device, called UZELA, that helps prevent these kind of environmental catastrophes.
Design Process
This was the first game I and others made for university, even though it was technically an engineering class
The project started off as a simple cardboard prototype, and gradually expanded to a wooden model
The process was meticulously documented through a design notebook, seven documents, and a final report
SolidWorks was used to design the gripping tool that players would use
A big challenge was keeping track of where players had messed up on the board through physical citcuitry
It was solved partly by prototyping the mechanics on TinkerCAD
